Internet Rechartering has Come to

the Central New Jersey Council!

Renew the charter for packs, troops, teams, crews, & ships

A representative of each unit can now complete the paperwork for renewing a charter online. From Internet Rechartering, you can indicate returning members, add new members, and update information for an individual or the chartered organization.

How to Use:

The October roundtables will feature training on Internet Rechartering. Each unit must select an adult to be its renewal processor; this adult must attend the training. Additionally, anyone who wants to learn more about how Internet Rechartering works can take the interactive Internet Rechartering tutorial and view the help.

To renew a charter online:

1. Select a renewal processor today. The processor begins familiarizing with the rechartering steps by clicking through the on-line tutorial.
2. The renewal processor attends November roundtable to receive training, charter renewal materials and the unit access code.
3. Beginning December 1st, the renewal processor clicks Recharter Now and begins the process.
4. When the online process is completed, the renewal processor prints the completed charter renewal application.
5. The unit leader and the chartered organization representative sign the charter renewal application. Submit the application along with the material you received in your recharter packet, and all appropriate fees at the November roundtable. You may also turn your materials in to your unit commissioner or district executive.
6. PLEASE ALSO REMEMBER to add $5.00 per scout and adult on the charter (including adult partners). This is to pay of the accident/sickness insurance.
