2008 Spirit of America Awards Dinner

This event will celebrate a great nation, while at the same time honoring a long-standing tradition of the coveted Eagle Scout Award. The Eagle Scout Award is the highest award a boy can earn in Scouting. Only four out of every one hundred boys achieve this award annually. The Eagle Award shares company with such notables as Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates; Astronaut, James Lovell, Jr.; President Gerald Ford; and New Jersey's own, Senator Bill Bradley.

The Spirit of Ameria dinner will honor community leaders in the healthcare, financial services, government, community service, and education fields. For the evening, those honorees who are not currently an Eagle Scout will be bestowed with the title "Honorary Eagle".

The proceeds from this event help to continue to deliver values and character education to over 17,800 young people throughout central New Jersey.
